Soyak Crystal Tower, Istanbul

(with PCF)
With its 168 m height and 100.000 m² area, Crystal Tower is one of the most attractive buildings in the new central business district in Istanbul. The project consists of two towers, having 35 and 12 floors, with a podium connecting them. With the contribution of a large team of international consultants, the design targets innovation through contemporary architectural principles and advanced technology. The current standardization approach to skyscraper design was deliberately avoided.
On the ground level, the building footprint is a parallelogram following the site borders. The office floors are gradually formed into an hexagon at the middle, returning to a parallelogram at the top usable floor. This dynamic movement offers the city/residents surprising and unique perspectives from different spots of the metropolis.
